Rev Fru Roland educates young people on enhancing sustainable dev’t.

Rev Fru Roland,

Strategic Marketing and Business Consultant, Rev Fru Roland, who doubles as Founder of Cameroon Sustainable Development Project, CSDP, has schooled some young Cameroonians on sustainable development.

This was during a zoom meeting on Friday May 24. Speaking during the meeting, Rev Fru said the goal is to transform the mind of young Cameroonians to focus on self-empowerment and not depending on the government.

He urged young people to liaise with elders to build a better nation.

Rev Fru stated that his interest is to boost the capacity of young people in areas such as agriculture, IT, finance, health, renewable energy, reals estate and construction, media and entertainment.

The man of God challenged young people to be ambitious, goal-oriented, signaling the need for the right attitude to make the best of their skills. The right attitude and mindset, he underscored, enables people to make the best of their skills.

“A change in government cannot bring a change in individual mindsets. We need to develop our mindset in other to step out and make the difference,” Rev Fru stated.

Staying positive

In further pushing young people to stay positive, the man of God told participants to stay positive and shun negative pronouncements.

“For people to connect with your story, you must not tell negative stories about yourself. Develop the mindset of ‘Where others fail, I will make it’. Think positive and talk positive because words have power,” the preacher and business consultant declared.

Vision of Cameroon Sustainable Dev’t Project

Detailing his Cameroon Sustainable Development Project, CSDP, Rev Fru said he foresees success given that there will be no competition among nation builders.

“CSDP movement will be the biggest movement that Cameroon has seen in the past 64 years where Francophones and Anglophones come together to achieve a common goal. 3000 Cameroonians will be trained to work and empower the rest of the nation,” the reverend declared.

He emphasised that nation builders should learn how to value humans because they are more important than natural resources.

“The reason America is what it is today is because those who build it understood that human beings are more important than resources. Let´s use same spirit and build the Cameroon that we desire,” Rev Fru remarked.

He encouraged volunteers to learn how to make money work for them and not them working continuously for money. “Learn how to build businesses that will work for you,” he said.

He believes in 20 years from now, nation builders will decide the next phase of Cameroon.

“Let’s channel our energy towards the growth and prosperity of the nation and take every message from CSDP serious,” Rev Fru appealed.

The meeting ended with participants expressing gratitude to Rev Fru for sharing his vision with them. They promised to make use of the knowledge gained.
