October 12 poll: Tomaino Ndam Njoya rallies supporters in fief, Noun.

The CDU president and flagbearer is said to have arrived in the West Region Bangourain, Noun Division, of the West Region yesterday.

It should be noted that the Noun Division is the political fief of the CDU party. Upon arrival, Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya received a befitting welcome from supporters of the party in the CDU stronghold.

Videos circulating on social media showed hundreds of supporters storming the streets. While chanting songs and brandishing the party’s colours, banners and posters, they accompanied their candidate to the campaign ground. Circulation was paralyzed as the crowd made its way to the rally ground.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd, Tomaino Ndam Njoya unveiled her political vision and re-echoed the need for change.

The presidential aspirant encouraged supporters to go out massively and vote for her in her bid to become the pioneer female and next president of the republic.

“Once we have a federation, our children will no longer need to go to Yaounde for their competitive entrance exams, or study. We will have everything here. You will not need to go far anymore,” she told supporters at the rally.

The campaign rally in the Noun Division was the latest for Tomaino Ndam Njoya. It marked the fourth major lap of the CDU presidential candidate.

The campaign trail of Tomaino Ndam Njoya has previously toured some parts of the South Region, including Sagmelima, Kye-Osie, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Ambam, and Olamze.

She launched her campaign on Saturday September 27 in Yaounde and has toured major neighbourhoods of the nation’s capital. She was also in Douala, Littoral Region on Saturday October 4.
