Kumba: Senator Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko communes with orphans on Christmas.

The event brought together over 200 orphans from 10 different orphanages across Kumba; celebrating love, joy and hope for Christmas. 

The Nfon and his wife, Queen Nadia Mukete, exhibited their love towards the orphans, through humanitarian gestures like sharing gifts and a common meal. 

The Paramount Ruler reminded the orphans that they are not left alone and that the palace has always been there and will remain there for them for the rest of their lives.

The Bafaw Monarch and wife donated gifts to the over 200 children who showed up in the palace, urging them to remain steadfast and always put God at the centre of their activities.

The kids, through their guardians, thanked God for using the Nfon to succour them.

The ceremony at the Nfon's Palace in Kumba was a veritable Christmas party for the kids, who danced and felt the warm of the palace.

Each orphan went home with the sum of 100,000 FCFA to celebrate with their friends. 

It was also an opportunity for the orphans to commune with some dignitaries and personalities in Kumba, including the Mayors of Kumba I and II, Barrister Eseme Moses Esembe and Chief Mbachu Jacob Kay respectively, Divisional Delegates, Bafaw elite, traditional rulers, the clergy and a cross section of the population.

Since his crowning as the King of Kumba and the Bafaw tribe, Nfon Mukete has embarked on a Godly mission to upgrade the living standards of his native Bafaw kith and kin, as well as the cosmopolitan population of Kumba.

The celebrated businessman, traditional ruler cum politician, has made it a yearly tradition to hugely assist pupils and students in his Chiefdom during back- to-school periods. 

He frequently donates didactics and financial packages to the beneficiaries.

A God-fearing leader, Senator Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko, has also offered several relief assistance to families of victims of the armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions. 

Since succeeding his father in early 2020, the Nfon of Kumba and Paramount Ruler of the Bafaw has carried out humanitarian activities across orphanages in Kumba with most of them receiving support directly from the palace and during special events.
