IPA signs four investment deals worth 10 billion FCFA.

The Investment Promotion Agency, IPA, has signed two investment agreements and two addenda worth over 10.8 billion FCFA. The agreements were signed in Yaounde on July 16.

This was during a ceremony that attended by representatives of companies operating in the agro-processing, manufacturing and tourism sectors. 

According to information made public by the IPA, the two investment agreements were concluded with Avoplus and La Société Africaine de Fabrication et de Manufacture, SAFMA. 

The projects, IPA revealed, represent a total investment of FCFA 10,882,108,753 and are projected to generate 200 jobs. 

The agency added that it also signed two addenda with NOFIK Hotels and Africa Development Industry. 

IPA explained that the addenda concern the upgrading of an existing investment project and the relocation of a project site respectively.

According to the agency, the signing ceremony formed part of efforts by the investment promotion body to facilitate private sector investment and support economic development in the country.

Addressing investors during the ceremony, the Interim General Manager of IPA, Boma Donatus, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to assisting companies in implementing their investment agreements and benefiting from incentives provided under the country’s investment framework.

He urged investors facing challenges in the execution of their projects to engage directly with the agency so that appropriate solutions could be identified.

“If you encounter any difficulty in implementing your agreement, come back to us. We are here to apply what the Head of State has instructed us to implement under the 2025 ordinance. We remain available to listen to you and assist whenever problems arise concerning the implementation of your agreement,” Boma said.

The IPA boss also announced the upcoming Cameroon Investment Forum scheduled to take place from November 18 to 20, 2026, and formally invited the companies to participate in the event.

He said invitations would be sent to investors and stakeholders through the agency’s existing contact network ahead of the forum.
