At ABC Convention in USA: CCA Bank strengthens ties with Cameroonian Diaspora.

CCA Bank delegation to the convention in the USA

After a strong showing at the Mboa Paris earlier this year, CCA Bank has continued its strategic outreach to the Cameroonian diaspora by participating in the All Bamileke Convention, ABC, of North America.

The convention was held from August 29 to 31, 2025, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in the United States of America, USA.

Placed under the theme: “Valuing Our Heritage, Building Our Future”, the convention brought together more than 5,000 participants from the United States and Canada, in an atmosphere of cultural solidarity and shared identity.

CCA Bank, represented by its General Manager, Marguerite Fonkwen Atanga, accompanied by her team, seized the international platform to showcase its innovative offering dedicated to the diaspora: Diaspora Banking.

Offer for Cameroonians abroad

Designed to address the specific needs of Cameroonians living overseas, Diaspora Banking stands out with a comprehensive range of services.

It includes remote account opening and management, access to savings and current accounts with integrated Visa cards, fast and secure international money transfers, support for real estate investment and income-generating projects, and personalised banking concierge services.

The offer drew significant interest from participants, who welcomed the opportunity to maintain a strong financial link with Cameroon while actively contributing to the country’s economic development.

CCA Bank’s consistent presence at major diaspora gatherings, from Mboa Paris to the ABC Convention, reflects a clear strategy: building trust with Cameroonians abroad by providing them with tailored, reliable, and accessible services wherever they reside.

Beyond commercial objectives, the approach reflects a strong commitment to the community.

It aims to reinforce solidarity and foster mutual investment through modern, inclusive financial solutions.

CCA Bank’s strategy, it should be said, is anchored in a strong conviction: when a bank invests in communities, everyone benefits.

For the bank, an expanded client base, greater international visibility, and diversified revenue streams are essential.

“For the community: easier access to banking services, structured support for local initiatives, and a reliable bridge for remittances and investments,” said the bank.

“Whether it is a market woman in Buea receiving funds from her son in Washington, or a young entrepreneur in Douala launching a project with the support of a parent in Montreal through Diaspora Savings Plus, Diaspora Banking offers a concrete and modern response to the needs of the diaspora,” it added.

Long-term vision

Through the said initiatives, CCA Bank reaffirms its ambition to be more than just a financial institution: a lasting bridge between Cameroon and its diaspora.

The long-term vision places people, trust, and impact at the core of its strategy, with the goal of fostering shared economic and social development on both sides of the Atlantic.

With landmark initiatives such as Mboa Paris and the ABC Convention, CCA Bank is steadily establishing itself as a key player in bringing Cameroonians at home and abroad closer together.
