One of the country’s leading financial institutions, CCA Bank, has officially opened a Service Desk at the University of Ngaoundere. It was launched during a dual ceremony hosted by the university campus on Saturday, November 22.

The events included the official opening of the CCA Bank Service Desk on the campus of the University of Ngaoundere, followed by the solemn ceremony for the award of diplomas and prizes to the laureates of the Faculty of Science.

The activities took place at the Hamadjoda Adjoudji Amphitheatre. This was in the presence of a large crowd of attendees and numerous distinguished guests.

A significant delegation from CCA Bank, led by the Director of Marketing and Communication, Stéphanie Tchouendong, accompanied by the Regional Director for the North, officials from the Ngaoundéré branch, and several representatives from the bank’s headquarters, attended the event.

On the university side, the Rector, Deans, department heads, and many faculty members enhanced the prestige of the ceremony with their attendance.

The various speeches emphasised the strength of the partnership between the University of Ngaoundere and CCA Bank, particularly in supporting students, promoting academic excellence, and enhancing the employability of young graduates.

One of the highlights of the day was the inauguration of the CCA Bank service desk on campus. The new branch will allow students, lecturers, and administrative staff to access essential financial services directly on site. The services include the opening of accounts, deposits and withdrawals, payment of university fees, financial advice, and more.

In her address, CCA Bank’s representative, Stéphanie Tchouendong, praised the University of Ngaoundere for its commitment to improving the living and learning conditions of its students.

She also reaffirmed CCA Bank’s dedication to supporting young people in managing both their personal and professional projects. The second part of the event was dedicated to awarding diplomas to the laureates of the Professional Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes.

The graduates received their certificates to the applause of their lecturers and loved ones. University officials and partners congratulated the students for their resilience and hard work, while stressing the importance of scientific training for Cameroon’s development.

Special prizes were awarded to the top students in each programme, some of which were offered by CCA Bank as the official sponsor. The ceremony concluded with a convivial gathering, bringing together students, families, academic officials, and partners for friendly exchanges and memorable photo sessions.

The double event not only celebrated academic excellence, but also strengthened the ties between CCA Bank and the University of Ngaoundere. The opening of the banking service desk marks an important step in fostering closer financial services within the academic environment, while the graduation ceremony remains a powerful symbol of commitment to youth and their future.
