CPDM Upper-Sanaga South: Minister Bidoung Mkpatt mobilises supporters ahead of twin polls.

This was during a joint section conference on Sunday, July 26, in Mbandjock. He was accompanied in the exercise by Prof Paul Celestin Ndembiyembe, CPDM Secretary for Political Education and Strategic Planning. 

The Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, of Upper-Sanaga Division as well as religious, traditional, and local authorities attended the event.

Discussions at the conference were under the theme: “General mobilisation, collective discipline: The CPDM Upper-Sanaga South Section at the forefront of a more resounding victory in the upcoming elections”.

The minister who is also Head of the Divisional Permanent Delegation of the Central Committee of the CPDM in the Upper Sanaga, called on party supporters to remain vigilant and united.

Bidoung Mkpatt who is also Organising Secretary of the CPDM, reminded comrades to approach the upcoming elections with serenity and confidence.

He hailed the grassroots supporters of the Upper-Sanaga South CPDM section for the successful organisation of the joint conference.

The minister explained that the joint conference demonstrated the commitment of supporters of the CPDM Upper-Sanaga South section.

“Despite the negative impacts of the economic and social situation that weigh upon all important sectors of our national development, you have managed to develop various precious qualities, including endurance, creativity, bravery, and resilience,” the minister said.

The qualities, he went on, allow the CPDM in Mbandjock to remain resolute in supporting President Paul Biya. Bidoung Mkpatt said the confab was in accordance with the new orientations of the party’s hierarchy, to renew works at the grassroots as twin polls approach.

“To achieve this, the hierarchy calls upon us to defuse internal tensions before the sensitive phase of investitures,” he emphasised.

Resolutions arrived at during the conference, he said tied with the orientation of the Secretary General, SG, of the Central Committee of the ruling party during a recent meeting in Yaounde.

Officials said it was organised through the joint efforts of the main, women and youth wings of the party. Supporters used the meeting to renew support to President Paul Biya.

Speaking at the event, the President of the WCPDM for Upper-Sanaga South, Angel Nyango'o epse Bikme, who is also Mayor of Mbandjock Council, noted that the women and population of Upper-Sanaga South are forever ready to continue voting the ruling party.

The mayor said President Biya has always promoted unity and development. In this light, he said women are mobilised to vote for the CPDM.

She further promised that all is set for massive voter registration and an unfailingly 100 percent victory as preparations intensify for the upcoming legislative and municipal elections.

“As instructed by the National Champion, women and youth will be empowered and given responsibilities as the reorganisation of basic organs is underway,” she concluded.

The YCPDM Upper-Sanaga South Section President, Wayang Nestor, reassured the CPDM Central Committee delegation of the endless and unconditional support of the youth of Mbandjock. The event culminated in a motion of support to the presidential couple, Paul and Chantal Biya.
