At Labour Day feast: Minister Mbah Acha hails CONSUPE staff for professionalism, hard work.

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of Supreme State Audit, Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, has praised the staff of the Supreme State Audit Office, known by its French acronym CONSUPE, for their professionalism, resilience and hard work.



She showered the praises on CONSUPE staff on Friday May 1, 2026, during celebrations marking this year’s Labour Day. After taking part in the march past in Yaounde, the CONSUPE staff gathered at the institution’s head office to feast.

Gael Ntep, CONSUPE staff representative, in a welcome address, lauded Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam for her dexterity in steering the activities of CONSUPE. 

Despite enumerating some challenges the staff are facing, she, on behalf of CONSUPE workers, pledged to continue serving the institution with unwavering attention and professionalism.

Meanwhile, Minister Mbah Acha said she was very proud of the CONSUPE staff because of their professionalism and hard work.

Congratulating meritorious staff 

“I encourage them to remain consistently diligent and punctual in their work, and to carry out their duties with the seriousness and sincerity expected of them. This is because the Head of State, who is our supreme boss, as I am only the Minister Delegate, expects work well done from us. I am congratulating them today, but also encouraging them to continue working for the citizens of this country,” she stated.

She also urged the staff to continue carrying out the missions which has been given with hitches.

“When they go on mission, they should do it with seriousness, and with objectivity so as to bring back the good results that the Head of State expects of us and knowing that we're working for the citizens of Cameroon so that whatever has been programmed for them would get down to them,” Minister Mbah Acha added.

The event also featured award of prizes to meritorious staff and award of trophies to winners of sporting activities that had taken place ahead of the celebration of Labour Day. Some of the sporting activities included football, handball, volleyball and table tennis.

The CONSUPE staff had also undertaken a sports work to keep. The event, which was spiced with presentations by renowned musicians and comedians, ended with feasting and merry-making.
