Bony Dashaco: President, Dash Holdings Africa

Continentally-acclaimed Cameroonian media mogul and Chairman of the African Centre for Marketing, Advertising and Research, ACMAR Media Group, Bony Dashaco, has thrown his weight behind the incumbent Head of State, President Paul Biya, for the October 12 presidential election.

The young and influential personality, who has greatly impacted society through his philanthropic activities and job-creation initiatives, announced his endorsement of President Biya yesterday.

Dashaco, who is also Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Dashaco Holdings, confirmed the development in a telephone interview with The Guardian Post, yesterday.

“I have decided to give my full and unflinching support to the Candidacy of His Excellency Paul Biya, in the October 12 presidential election,” he declared.

The President and Founder of Médiafrique, an affiliate of ACMAR International, said his decision is based on the wisdom, clairvoyance leadership acumen which the Head of State has demonstrated in the past four decades at the helm of the State.

The unrelenting development champion, youth empowerment and job- creation spear-header across the country, said President Biya is the surest hands on whom the ship of State can be entrusted.

He was categorical that Cameroon is a complex State that needs an experienced Statesman at its helm in the person of President Biya.

This, Bony Dashaco said, is because the Head of State has, even in the most difficult of times, steadily steered the nation to safer shores, especially in cushioning and overcoming several storms that the nation has faced.

He argued that the experience, wisdom, patriotism and foresightedness of President Paul Biya are undeniable and irrefutable assets that the country needs at the moment.

Bony Daschaco, who is a prominent member of the UK-Cameroon Chamber of Commerce and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, said as a businessman, it pleases him to throw his weight behind President Biya, who he said has made the business climate in Cameroon more than ever favourable to investors.

Fighting tooth and nail to ensure peace, unity, living together and social cohesion in a diversified country like Cameroon, Bony Dashaco said, are among the key reasons he believes President Biya should be given another shot in the nation’s top job.

Bony Dashaco told The Guardian Post that through his decision to support the candidacy of President Biya, he is affirming and reaffirming his commitment to support Republican institutions and President Paul Biya who incarnates them at all times.
